For almost 30 years, Lorient has specialised in sealing systems for door assemblies, embracing fire protection, smoke control and acoustic insulation.

Lorient has a strong international presence. Along with Lorient North America, Lorient Group companies also operate from the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Lorient North America was established in 2000. The company now manufactures from purpose-built premises in Lexington, KY, and this facility also enables Lorient to provide a speedy delivery service to its customers throughout the North American market.
Through following the trusted Lorient philosophy of quality and partnership, Lorient North America has grown from strength to strength, and contines to bring unique innovations to market.
Tested and Proven
Fire and smoke are life-threatening forces, and every year lives are lost and property destroyed, often due to inadequate fire and smoke protection measures. As a result, Lorient believe in subjecting their products to strenuous testing, to prove their effectiveness in a fire, even many years after the products were originally installed.
Lorient has invested in an in-house technical research and development unit second to none, with comprehensive testing facilities and highly qualified staff. This facility is used to develop all Lorient products, and is often used by customers to support their own product development too.
Industry Presence
Lorient has been a major contributor to the raising of standards for fire and smoke sealing practice, internationally, through its active involvement in relevant trade associations and further voluntary work on industry committees. Lorient works with many major US door manufacturers, and Lorient products are also available through private label accounts - please ask for information.
